Rossi
Office Interiors
Located in the historic center of Saint Petersburg, the project transforms the interiors of a historic building associated with architect Carlo Rossi into a contemporary private corporate office. The design concept is based on a delicate dialogue between architectural heritage and modern minimalism, preserving the spirit and atmosphere of the original spaces while introducing a new functional identity. The project emphasizes their monumental proportions, classical geometry, and timeless architectural character.

The interior palette is deliberately restrained, combining natural plaster, marble, stone, dark wood, and carefully selected contemporary furniture. Monochromatic surfaces, subtle textures, and refined detailing create a quiet, almost mysterious atmosphere. Natural daylight becomes an essential architectural element, revealing the depth of the spaces, highlighting the materiality of the walls, and creating a subtle interplay of light and shadow. Minimalist interventions contrast with historic arches, tall windows, and monumental staircases without competing with their original architectural expression.
The spatial organization integrates private offices, meeting rooms, reception areas, and informal lounges into a cohesive working environment. Contemporary furniture and transparent partitions introduce comfort and functionality while maintaining the visual continuity of the historic interiors. The result is a sophisticated and understated workspace where history and contemporary design coexist, creating an atmosphere of exclusivity, tranquility, and timeless elegance.
